SELF-PARKING VEHICLE TEST FACILITY
PARKING - RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

This multi-storey car park test facility consists of five parking levels, associated external storage building and on-road parking bays. Developed in partnership with Coventry University, this test facility will help develop self-parking technology by solving the parking challenges from a connectivity and autonomy perspective within a controlled environment.
Templewood Design was appointed by the electrical contractor to design the electrical services from RIBA plan of work stages 4-6 whilst working at BIM level 2. The electrical services design was developed using Revit, AutoCAD 2D, Relux and Modecsoft Electrical OM.

This multi-storey car park provides six levels of car parking across three floors, accommodating 300 vehicles for visitors to the events centre and the wider town. Featuring a DMX LED controlled lighting system to enable the building to change colour.

TREASURE HOUSE

This scheme consisted of 30 luxury residential apartments, communal courtyard, basement parking and landlords’ areas. The development features 2 and 3 bed apartments with a number of duplex units having private terraces.
The development was designed as a series of buildings with their appearance influenced by the sites historic neighbours which range in period, scale, mass, material and detail.

This new waterside development by Urban Splash, located within New Islington area of Manchester comprises of 18no three-storey prefabricated modular homes complete with elevated rear terrace which overlooks the Ashton Canal.
The development also comprises of a raised steel frame structure that supports the modular homes in order to provide a secure undercover off road parking area. Each home has 3 dedicated parking spaces with a total site capacity of 54 spaces.
Templewood Design was responsible for the full electrical services design for the car parking and raised elevated terrace area.

Kingsmere Community Centre is located in Bicester, Oxfordshire and forms the central hub for the kingsmere Development which includes over 1,000 new homes, a school, education campus and commercial facilities. The community Centre comprises of a main hall, meeting rooms, boardrooms, an office community café and kitchen.

Templewood Design was appointed by the electrical contractor to design the electrical services from RIBA plan of work stages 4-7 for this new community centre located in Whitnash, Leamington Spa.
This project involved the demolition of the existing hall and construction of a new community hall which comprised of a multi-use sports hall, library, community café, meeting rooms and town council offices.
Sustainability was highlighted as a focus and to address this, an Air Source Heat Pump and photovoltaic (PV) WAS installed.

This refurbishment project comprised of updating a residential care home for ExrtraCare Charitable Trust at their Lark Hill Village site in Nottingham.
The project was a complex refurbishment which was carried out over 5 phases in a live environment to create fantastic new facilities for residents to enjoy including new bar, gym, yoga/dance studio, hair salon, library, various flexible spaces.

FELDON VALLEY
LEISURE - BANBURY, COTSWOLDS

Year Completed – 2020
This development for Feldon Valley golf club is located within the Cotswolds which saw the construction of a brand-new four-star 13-bedroom hotel, four woodland lodges and an extension and remodeling of the existing clubhouse.
The £6.75 million project was delivered while the club remained open to members, ensuring it maintained its existing revenue streams while the build was in progress.
Providing accommodation for up to 50 guests, the new hotel and lodges complement the transformation of the clubhouse building, which includes the redesign of the interior layout and the creation of enhanced external terraces overlooking the 18-hole course.
The hotel and woodland lodges are linked by an elevated boardwalk, with the buildings clad in high-quality, naturally weathering materials that ensure the development is fully in keeping with the idyllic countryside.
Templewood Design was appointed by the electrical contractor to update working drawings during construction including ‘As Built’ drawings at project completion.
